We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine & Pediatrics (Med-Peds) Physician to join our growing primary care team in Metro Detroit. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll work alongside Advanced Practice Providers, Behavioral Health Specialists, Care Managers, and specialists to deliver high-quality, coordinated care across the lifespan.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine & Pediatrics (Med-Peds)
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
  • DEA license and controlled substance registration (or ability to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous outpatient primary care experience is preferred, but recent residency graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with value-based care or population health is a plus.
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR); Athena experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient primary care services for patients across all ages (Family Medicine or Med-Peds scope).
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Perform annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and routine physical examinations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on long-term health and wellness.
  • Work closely with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Care Managers, Behavioral Health, and specialty teams.
  • Supervise and collaborate with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners as appropriate.
  • Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Stay current on evidence-based medicine and clinical best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care programs.
