About The Position

Fairview is seeking an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physician to join the primary care practice at Fairview Brooklyn Park Clinic in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The clinic is a 16-provider primary care practice with more than 12 specialists onsite. Physicians see an average of 18–22 patients per day and have 34 patient-contact hours per week. Call is approximately once per month and is phone consultation only, supported by first-tier nurse triage. The opening is 1.0 FTE or less, with a flexible schedule. As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Fairview uses a multidisciplinary team approach to manage clinical care. The practice provides employer-paid Nabla AI clinical documentation support and uses a fully integrated EPIC electronic medical record. Brooklyn Park is a diverse community in the northwest Twin Cities metro, known for its neighborhoods, parks and trails, and cultural vibrancy.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency training program.
Board certified or board eligible with the ABMS or AOA.
Licensed or able to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Able to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria and qualifications for credentialing and privileges, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide primary care as an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physician.
Manage clinical care using a multidisciplinary team approach.
Participate in phone-consultation call approximately once per month, with first-tier nurse triage support.
