About The Position

Fairview is seeking an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Physician to join the primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic – Rosemount, a high-performing clinic with top-decile clinical quality and patient satisfaction scores. The clinic is located in Rosemount, Minnesota, about 25 minutes from Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

The 11-provider practice includes Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. Onsite and affiliated support includes a Behavioral Health Consultant, Certified Diabetes Educator, anticoagulation services, medication therapy management, and an onsite pharmacy. Physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach to clinical care as part of a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization. The clinic uses the fully integrated EPIC electronic medical record and provides employer-paid Nabla AI clinical documentation support.

Patient encounters average 18–20 per day. Full-time physicians have 34 patient-contact hours per week, with a flexible schedule. Virtual care is offered by video, telephone, and through the EMR. Call is low intensity, phone consultation only, with first-tier nurse triage, at a frequency of 1:6.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency training program.
• Board certified or board eligible with the ABMS or AOA.
• Licensed or able to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• Able to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria and qualifications for credentialing and privileges, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to patients in an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics practice.
• Manage clinical care using a multidisciplinary team approach.
• Provide virtual care by video, telephone, and through the EMR.
• Participate in low-intensity phone consultation call coverage, supported by first-tier nurse triage.
