Full-Time Physician - Internal / Family Medicine - Private Practice
About The Position
This physician-owned private practice, serving the greater Greenville area since 1997, is seeking a full-time Internal or Family Medicine Physician for outpatient primary care services to adult patients. The role involves diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance. Physicians will see an average of 22 to 26 patients per day, with dedicated medical assistants providing support. The practice utilizes the eClinicalWorks EHR. On-call coverage is shared evenly on weekends and consists of low-volume phone triage only. This is a growth opportunity with a 2-year partnership track.
Requirements
- South Carolina medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- 1+ year outpatient primary care experience
Responsibilities
- Provide a full scope of outpatient primary care services to adult patients.
- Diagnose, treat, coordinate care, provide preventive care, and manage health maintenance.
- Review patient histories.
- Perform physical examinations.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Review test results and recommend management.
- Prescribe medications.
- Formulate treatment and disease management plans.
- Communicate with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of care.
- Share on-call coverage on weekends for low-volume phone triage.
