About The Position
Corewell Health is hiring an Infectious Diseases Physician to perform inpatient and outpatient general infectious disease consultations and see patients in both settings. The physician will rotate on General ID and Academic Services. The position is based at Butterworth Hospital in downtown Grand Rapids, a nationally recognized hospital for patient quality and safety and a regional full-service hospital leader. Butterworth is the flagship hospital for Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals and a major tertiary and quaternary referral center for West Michigan and beyond. Its services include the region’s only Regional Burn Center and Level I Trauma Center, alongside cardiovascular, cancer, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, neurosciences, trauma, and emergency care. The role is full time, with a day shift and 40 scheduled hours per week. Hours and days worked are variable, and weekend frequency is variable.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Board certified in Internal Medicine.
- Fellowship trained in Infectious Disease.
