About The Position

Sanford Health is hiring multiple hospitalists to provide medical care to patients in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and the surrounding area. Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree; the job description also identifies an equivalent foreign medical degree as acceptable.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in South Dakota.
• Current medical license in each state of practice.
• State Controlled Substance License, if required by the state.
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, or an equivalent board.
