About The Position

ProMedica Physicians Group is seeking a part-time Hospitalist to join its Hospitalist group at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. This is a day-shift position scheduled from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for 13 weeks per year.

The role focuses on preventive care and patient education across a wide range of medical specialties. Physicians use current medical knowledge and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide personalized, effective care and help patients maintain long-term health and manage complex conditions.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state or states where care is provided.
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certifications applicable to the role, such as BLS, ACLS, or PALS.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist care at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
• Focus on preventive care and patient education.
• Apply current medical knowledge to support patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver personalized, effective care.
• Help patients maintain long-term health and manage complex conditions.
