About The Position

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join its Hospitalist group at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. This is a day-shift position following a 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven-days-on/seven-days-off schedule, working 26 weeks per year.

PPG focuses on preventive care and patient education across a wide range of medical specialties. Physicians use current medical knowledge and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide personalized care and help patients maintain long-term health and manage complex conditions. Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to the role, such as BLS, ACLS, or PALS.
• Commitment to continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide personalized, effective care.
• Support preventive care, patient education, long-term health, and management of complex conditions.
