Physician - Hospitalist
About The Position
Join an established team of providers in an inpatient practice setting as an employed physician within a nonprofit health system. This position requires you to be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and eligible for a state medical license and DEA registration. The facility is a 541-bed hospital serving a large region, featuring the largest adult cardiac surgery and most comprehensive structural heart program, as well as a comprehensive stroke center. Ascension is a national nonprofit Catholic health system committed to mission-centered care.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible for state medical license and DEA registration
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
