About The Position
St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a Hospitalist to provide patient-centered inpatient care in a collaborative, physician-led environment. The role includes leading patient rounds, developing treatment plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, communicating with patients, families, and medical teams, admitting patients as needed, and improving care processes and outcomes. The physician may also mentor and guide Internal Medicine Residents. The position offers a 7-on/7-off schedule, advance knowledge of shifts, and access to state-of-the-art technology.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Strong commitment to collaborative, patient-focused care.
- Board certified or board eligible in the specialty.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- DEA license.
- Missouri Board of Registration of the Healing Arts licensure.
Responsibilities
- Lead patient rounds, develop treatment plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary care teams.
- Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and medical teams.
- Admit new patients as needed and provide timely, effective care.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
- Mentor and guide Internal Medicine Residents.
