About The Position

Vituity is seeking Internal Medicine physicians to provide hospital medicine at O’Connor Hospital in San Jose, California. The hospital is a 358-bed facility with a 22-bed open ICU and annual volume exceeding 68,500, serving a diverse patient mix. Hospitalists see 14–16 encounters per day, while nocturnists see 8–10 encounters per night. Procedures and ventilator management are not required; an in-house intensivist is available. Vituity-staffed Critical Care and Anesthesiology departments provide integrated care at the site. Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership led by frontline physicians. The estimated annual base compensation is $275,000–$900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Total compensation, including partnership income, varies by site and may significantly exceed the stated range. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked.

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

Provide hospital medicine care at O’Connor Hospital.
Manage a hospitalist caseload of approximately 14–16 encounters per day or, for nocturnists, 8–10 encounters per night.
