Physician - Hematologist Medical Oncologist
About The Position
The FirstHealth Cancer Center is a new, four-story, 120,000-square-foot facility designed to provide a full spectrum of oncology services. It includes contemporary treatment facilities, palliative care services, research and clinical trials, patient and caregiver support services, nutrition services, a dedicated wellness center, and a healing garden. This opportunity involves practicing in a state-of-the-art facility with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The clinical trials program has received the Gold Seal Award from SCOR and NCI. There is an exceptionally collegial relationship with Pinehurst Medical Clinic, a local multi-specialty private practice. The call rotation is 1:7.
Requirements
- Clean background.
- Unrestricted NC medical licensure.
- NC DEA certification.
- AHA ACLS certification.
- Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved residency and fellowship programs.
- Board certification or eligibility is required.
- No visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
- Participate in a 1:7 call rotation.
