About The Position

The Medical Oncology and Hematology Department at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Oncologist and Hematologist to join our practice. We are expanding our team to provide services at Mercy's various locations in Baltimore County in addition to our Downtown Baltimore practice. As a Medical Oncologist you will be able to provide clinical care in our satellite locations in Baltimore County and Mercy's downtown campus. Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology
Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered oncology care
Interest in practicing at both Mercy's downtown campus and satellite community locations
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
Interest in contributing to the continued expansion and development of Mercy's Medical Oncology and Hematology program

Responsibilities

Provide clinical care in satellite locations in Baltimore County and Mercy's downtown campus.
Participate in a shared call schedule.
Work with a team of colleagues to care for patients in a collaborative environment.
Practice in a community-focused care model.
Work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Practice across Mercy's downtown campus and community satellite locations throughout Baltimore County.
Emphasize continuity, accessibility, and compassionate care delivery.
Work in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment with experienced oncology colleagues and support staff.
Participate in a shared call rotation.
Engage in structured clinic scheduling that allows full-day continuity clinics at each practice location.
Play a key role in the continued growth and expansion of Mercy's oncology services throughout the region.
Primarily outpatient practice with inpatient consultative responsibilities supported by dedicated Hospitalist and Intensivist teams.
