About The Position

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking an experienced Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our 7 physician established surgical team in Roswell, GA. This position offers a balanced practice with Emergency General Surgery (EGS) call responsibilities and the opportunity to grow an elective general surgery practice. Practice at a Level II Trauma Center with shared EGS call responsibilities (~4 calls/month). Join a team of 3 trauma surgeons, 4 general surgeons, and 3 APPs in a high-volume, collaborative environment with strong support and the opportunity to build elective case volume.

Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon
• 5–10 years of general surgery experience preferred
• Comfortable managing acute care surgery independently
• Interest/experience in bariatric cases (15–20%)
• No breast surgery required
