About The Position

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical Oncology seek a Hematologist/Oncologist (MD or DO) qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Princeton, West Virginia. Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible for state medical license.
  • Completed Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Completed Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
  • Board certified / eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Practice in the areas of Hematology/Oncology.
  • Provide excellent patient care.
  • Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
