About The Position

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), is seeking to employ an Advanced Endoscopy Gastroenterologist to join their growing GI program in Boca Raton, Florida. This role will support a long-standing practice with a strong reputation in the region, part of a multidisciplinary GI service line focused on advanced therapeutic endoscopy and complex gastrointestinal care with an established referral network providing a diverse case volume, ideal for skill-building. The opportunity also provides a strong clinical foundation, mentorship, and the ability to grow into a high-level interventional GI practice. This is a Full-Time Opportunity (Job ID: FY26-PB-GI-01-01). The candidate will perform advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, endoscopic stenting, and other complex interventions, and will exhibit a strong clinical interest in pancreaticobiliary, and complex gastrointestinal disease management. The candidate will be responsible for outpatient clinical practice with inpatient consults. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including two seasoned advanced endoscopists who enjoy mentoring, and a dedicated Physician Assistant to streamline workflow. There will be an opportunity to collaborate with surgical residents, providing a strong academic and team-oriented environment, and an opportunity to teach for those interested. They are seeking candidates whose focus is on quality, excellent patient-centered care, exhibit professional demeanor, and promote collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environment. Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date).
  • Satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
  • Fellowship completed in Advanced Endoscopy required.
  • Fellowship training in advanced endoscopy, advanced GI, or interventional endoscopy required.
