About The Position
Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician/Physician Family Practice to provide outpatient primary care services. The physician must demonstrate experience working in a diverse environment and be flexible, knowledgeable, and compassionate in caring for patients. The position is based in a warm, caring atmosphere where patient health is a top priority. The physician upholds medical ethics and quality-of-care standards, participates in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs, and follows Bureau of Primary Healthcare standards of clinical practice. The role shares phone-triage responsibilities with other Clinica Sierra Vista physicians, may establish and maintain local hospital affiliations or privileges as needed, and may represent the organization in professional groups. The physician may also assist the Chief Medical Officer with the design, implementation, and evaluation of health care programs and protocols. The role supervises assigned advanced practice providers, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants, onsite and by telephone for outlying clinic sites. The schedule is Monday through Friday, five eight-hour days, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Experience working in a diverse environment.
- Flexibility, knowledge, and compassion in patient care.
- Ability to supervise assigned nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care services.
- Adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics.
- Assure quality of care for all patients and regularly participate in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs.
- Comply with Bureau of Primary Healthcare standards of clinical practice.
- Share phone-triage responsibilities with other Clinica Sierra Vista physicians.
- Establish and maintain affiliations and/or privileges with local hospitals if needed.
- May represent Clinica Sierra Vista in professional groups.
- May assist the Chief Medical Officer in designing, implementing, and evaluating health care programs and protocols for patients and staff.
- Supervise assigned nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants onsite and by telephone for outlying clinic sites.

- Base salary of $250,000, commensurate with experience.
