About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team and meet the growing need for cardiology services at Franciscan Health Lafayette. Candidate must have completed a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery, along with preferred experience in vascular surgery, VATS, and robotics. The candidate will have a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and have a desire to invest in the community, building long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

• Completed a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
• Doctorate.
• Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire.
• Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire.
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in vascular surgery.
• Experience in VATS.
• Experience in robotics.
