Physician - Cardiology Non-Structural Interventional
About The Position
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Non-Structural Interventional Cardiologist who specializes in Non-Structural Intervention with a passion for PCI and Peripheral vascular procedures to join us at Franciscan Health Heart Center Michigan City located in Michigan City, Indiana with outreach to LaPorte and Chesterton, IN. The ideal candidate will have a passion for PCI and peripheral vascular procedures, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. The physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
Requirements
- Doctorate - Required
- Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required
- Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities
- Perform PCI and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Provide clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
- Display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
- Work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within the Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
- Participate in a 1:3 STEMI call rotation.
- Participate in 10 days of call per month.
- Potential outreach to Chesterton, IN and LaPorte, IN.
