About The Position

Franciscan Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Invasive Interventional Cardiologist to join their multi-specialty cardiac team on a full-time basis. The position is located at the FPN Cardiology Crown Point facility, which is a state-of-the-art space. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive personality, empathy, and a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The role involves collaborating with a supportive team and staff to deliver high-quality patient care. The position offers a flexible, full-time schedule with call responsibilities and potential for outreach to surrounding areas. The facility is equipped with modern technology, including Phillips systems for cardiac procedures and onsite equipment for various cardiac tests. Common diagnoses treated include abnormalities of heart rhythm, atrial fibrillation, cardiac arrhythmias, chest pain, and heart failure. Procedures performed include cardiac angioplasty and stent placement, rotational atherectomy, carotid stenting, and peripheral vascular procedures.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified Invasive Interventional Cardiologist.
  • Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Doctorate Required.
  • Physician License (DR) - Upon Hire Required.
  • Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required.
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Upon Hire Required.
