About The Position

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a motivated Non-Invasive Cardiologist to deliver high-acuity inpatient cardiac care at their flagship heart center. The role involves practicing at Reid Heart Center, FirstHealth’s centralized cardiac campus, which features advanced technologies including 4 cath labs, 3 EP labs, and 2 hybrid OR Suites. The position offers a lifestyle-friendly schedule of 7 on/7 off, with a collegial team environment working closely with various cardiac specialists and experienced APPs. The role is 100% inpatient, focusing on rounding, consults, follow-ups, TEEs, and interpretation of stress tests, echos, and nuclear studies, utilizing the Epic EMR system.

Requirements

• Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved residency and fellowship programs
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease required
• Clean background
• Licensed or eligible for unrestricted licensure in NC
• Current DEA certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
