About The Position

The Physician Assistant is responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries in a Family Practice model setting. They provide comprehensive, outpatient medical services for individuals and families on a continuing basis, and may, at certain locations, provide a continuum of care into inpatient and/or residential settings. The role may also include responsibility for medical assistant (MA) clinical supervision and continuing verification of the MAs clinical skills competency.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant school.
• Certified by the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
• Licensed in the State of Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries in a Family Practice model setting.
• Providing comprehensive, outpatient medical services for individuals and families on a continuing basis.
• Providing a continuum of care into inpatient and/or residential settings (at certain locations).
• Medical assistant (MA) clinical supervision and continuing verification of the MAs clinical skills competency (may be responsible for).
