About The Position

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide personalized medical care through house calls in Bronx, NY. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Active New York State PA license.
Board certified as a Physician Assistant.
Must live in the same borough.
Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and routine medical procedures.
Compassion, strong communication, empathy, independence, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

Assess patients’ health and needs and aim to fulfill them as well as possible.
Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine.
Inform physicians about problems or discrepancies that arise.
Acquire and review patient histories, identifying abnormal conditions.
Monitor patients’ progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries, and other medical events.
Attend to emergencies.
Provide assistance during surgeries.
Prepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures, including measuring blood pressure and temperature and administering injections.
Provide therapeutic treatments, including disinfecting wounds and stitching.
Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients.
Comply with medical care regulations and safety standards.
Collaborate effectively with team members of various specializations.
