Physician Assistant – 1-2 Days/Week - Panama City, FL
About The Position
The IMA Group is hiring a Physician Assistant to conduct independent medical evaluations for Veterans pursuing disability benefits related to service-connected conditions. The role is assessment-only, focused on clinical evaluation and documentation, with no ongoing patient management, treatment plans, patient panel, continuity-of-care responsibilities, or after-hours pages. The schedule is 1–2 days per week in Panama City, Florida, and is designed to fit around existing commitments. The Physician Assistant performs physical examinations, gathers medical histories, reviews records and diagnostic information, applies VA disability evaluation standards, and prepares objective reports connecting findings to military service. Documentation is submitted through the company’s digital case platform. There is no on-call rotation, night work, or weekend work. The IMA Group’s Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies by providing professional and objective medical and psychological examinations and ancillary services. Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Florida.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NCCPA certification in good standing.
- Solid clinical background with strong diagnostic reasoning.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Health, Orthopedics, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
