Nurse Practitioner- 1-2 Days/Week - Panama City, FL
About The Position
The IMA Group is hiring a Nurse Practitioner in Panama City, Florida, to conduct disability evaluations for Veterans. This role focuses on assessment and documentation rather than ongoing patient management. The schedule is one to two days per week, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate Veterans for disability compensation by conducting medical histories and focused physical examinations, reviewing records and diagnostics, documenting findings against VA evaluation criteria, preparing reports that relate a Veteran’s condition to their service, and completing VA questionnaires through a digital platform. The position is part of the company’s Government Services Division, which provides professional and objective medical and psychological examinations and ancillary services to local, state, and federal agencies.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Florida Nurse Practitioner license.
- Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Prior clinical Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Strong assessment and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Orthopedics, or a similar field.
