About The Position

Fairview is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the primary care team at M Health Fairview Clinic – Midway as a Same Day Provider. The role provides timely, patient-centered outpatient care for acute illnesses, minor injuries, and urgent health concerns. The Physician Assistant works collaboratively with physicians and care teams to provide prompt access to care and support continuity and coordination of treatment. The practice has a 12-provider primary care team comprising Family Medicine and Internal Medicine providers. Patient encounters average 18–22 per day, with 34 patient contact hours per week. The position is 1.0 FTE with a flexible schedule. The clinic is part of Fairview’s Accountable Care Organization and follows a collaborative, team-based model focused on quality outcomes, care coordination, and population health management. Clinical documentation support through Nabla AI is employer-paid, and the clinic uses the fully integrated EPIC electronic medical record.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant training program.
Board certified or board eligible through NCCPA.
Licensed or able to obtain a Physician Assistant license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Able to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria and qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
