About The Position
Proactive MD is hiring a PRN Physician Assistant for weekday hours at its clinic in O’Fallon, Illinois. The clinic provides workplace health services, including on-site physician access and direct primary care. Providers spend an average of 30 minutes with each patient and practice broad-scope, patient-focused primary care without RVUs or other volume-based measures. The practice prioritizes patient health, satisfaction, and engagement. Clinic address: 1472 N Green Mount Rd, O’Fallon, IL 62269. Clinic hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Requirements
- Master’s degree (MS, PA-C).
- At least 2 years of experience in a Family Practice or Primary Care environment.
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
- Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within the state of practice.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Internet, spreadsheet, and word-processing software.
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
Nice To Haves
- Certification as a Physician Assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations is preferred.
- Training skills are a plus.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills.
