Urgent Care PA (3-day work week)
About The Position
TotalCare Walk-In Clinic is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant for its Irvine clinic. The multi-specialty medical group provides internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and medical aesthetics services. Its team includes 25 providers across eight locations and offers a collaborative environment for new graduates and experienced providers to care for underserved communities in Southern California. The role offers experience in primary care and urgent care, including common procedures, with structured onboarding, physician mentorship, and a dedicated training period. The Medical Director holds weekly provider meetings to discuss cases, provide feedback, and share clinical research. Six physicians, each with more than 30 years of experience, rotate across the offices and provide in-person or telephone clinical support during all shifts. The schedule consists of three weekday shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and one weekend shift every other week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinic uses a team-based coverage model, so providers do not work solo shifts. There are no call duties or clinical inbox responsibilities; a separate support team manages administrative tasks. The role includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and additional performance-based incentives. The clinic offers comprehensive benefits, including full medical coverage and DEA/CME reimbursement. Spanish or Mandarin fluency is strongly preferred because of the patient population.
