About The Position

A private gastroenterology practice in Lakewood, Colorado, is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide patient-centered care in a supported outpatient clinic setting. The PA will work closely with experienced gastroenterologists and a collaborative care team. The position is full-time, clinic-only, four days per week, with no call or weekend work. Compensation includes a base salary of $115,000–$155,000, quarterly wRVU productivity bonuses, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The role includes a full benefits package, including health benefits, PTO, and retirement.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in an emergency room, internal medicine, or related field.
Graduate of an accredited PA program.
Active Colorado license, DEA, and board certification.
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including histories, examinations, and diagnostics.
Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions, including IBD, liver disease, and pancreatitis.
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and procedures.
Prescribe medications in accordance with protocols.
Educate patients about conditions, treatments, and prevention.
Provide follow-up care and adjust treatment plans.
Collaborate closely with physicians and the care team.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
