About The Position
This locum tenens Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant position provides clinical-only coverage in an outpatient neurosurgery clinic in Duluth, Minnesota. Coverage begins in April 2027 and continues ongoing. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an average daily volume of 12–16 patients. The facility is a Level II trauma center using Epic, with support from one RN, one MA, and two office staff. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered. The reason for coverage is supplemental.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible.
- Licensed in Minnesota.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for neurosurgery patients.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.
