Requirements
- Texas licensed & Board-Certified Physician Assistant
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
- Master's degree Physician Assistant required.
- The PA will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in neurosurgery, spine and trauma care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the neurosurgeon and orthopedic spine surgeons in the OR.
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments.
- Manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Plan treatment and document using EPIC EMR.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
