About The Position
We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, preferably with a background in GI, hepatology/transplant or internal medicine, to join our established hepatology practice in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will find a supportive leadership team and excellent colleagues in a team-oriented environment. This is mainly outpatient care, Monday-Fridays 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. However, there may be occasional inpatient coverage on Monday-Fridays several times a year. The practice environment is at the Morehead Medical Plaza office location and the team includes 5 MDs and 3 APPs at the site. Requirements
- Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- North Carolina licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years of APP experience required
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- NC.
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
- Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required.
- Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required, Master’s Degree.
- APP who demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
- APP who can prioritize and make proactive decisions.
Nice To Haves
- preferably with a background in GI, hepatology/transplant or internal medicine
- Experienced APPs with at least 2 years of gastroenterology, hepatology/transplant or internal medicine experience are preferred.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.

- Participate in team-based care delivery and clinical coordination
