About The Position

This is an opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who wants to build a meaningful, long-term career in Lake Havasu City. You’ll join a privately owned, physician-led practice where local teams have the flexibility to respond to the needs of their patients and community rather than operating under a one-size-fits-all corporate model. Day-to-day, you’ll provide care within a women’s health setting while working closely with physicians, clinical staff, and medical assistants. The practice is looking for an APP who can develop into a trusted clinical presence—someone who communicates well, takes ownership of patient care, and understands the leadership responsibility that comes with being an advanced practice provider. Just as important as clinical experience is genuine interest in the community. This role is best suited for someone who sees Lake Havasu as a place to establish roots, enjoys the outdoor lifestyle and smaller-community environment, and wants to become a lasting part of the practice and the population it serves. Experienced APPs are welcome, and select new-graduate NPs may also be considered when they bring relevant labor and delivery experience, professional maturity, and a strong commitment to developing their career in women’s health.

Requirements

Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Active Arizona license
Current board certification applicable to the provider’s discipline
For Nurse Practitioners, FNP or WHNP board certification required
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
Ability and willingness to establish a long-term professional presence in Lake Havasu City
A PA or NP with a genuine interest in women’s health and community-based practice
Someone who is committed to living and working in Lake Havasu City for the long term
A mature, dependable clinician who recognizes the APP role as both a clinical and leadership position
A collaborative provider who works well with physicians, APPs, and support staff
Someone who is hardworking, engaged, adaptable, and open to continued learning
A clear communicator who can build trust with patients and colleagues

Nice To Haves

Physician Assistant preferred
At least one year of experience in women’s health or family practice preferred
Experienced APPs are strongly encouraged to apply
New-graduate NPs may be considered with relevant labor and delivery experience and strong overall fit
Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable
Demonstrated leadership, professional maturity, and commitment to community-based care
Medical-language proficiency may qualify for an additional language stipend, subject to applicable proficiency requirements

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care within a women’s health practice
Evaluate patients, obtain histories, perform examinations, and develop appropriate care plans
Order and interpret diagnostic testing within scope of practice
Diagnose and manage conditions appropriate to the provider’s training, certification, and clinical privileges
Provide patient education, counseling, follow-up care, and preventive health guidance
Collaborate closely with physicians and other members of the clinical team
Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation
Utilize available medical assistant and AI scribe support to maintain an efficient patient-care workflow
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and members of the care team
Participate in ongoing clinical learning and professional development
Serve as a professional representative and clinical leader within the practice
Support a patient-centered culture responsive to the needs of the Lake Havasu community
