About The Position

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a growing, collaborative multidisciplinary medical team. This full-time position provides care at the practice’s Bowie and Upper Marlboro, Maryland offices, which are approximately 15 minutes apart. The role focuses on helping patients reduce pain, improve function, and return to a more active lifestyle by evaluating and managing musculoskeletal and pain conditions. Providers work with physicians, therapists, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, compassionate care. The practice describes its workload as manageable and offers office hours that end early on Fridays, with no weekends, call, or holidays. Compensation is $130,000–$140,000 annually, depending on experience, with a productivity bonus opportunity.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Active Maryland PA or NP license.
Strong clinical and communication skills.
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
Comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with musculoskeletal and pain conditions.
Perform patient examinations and review medical histories, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
Develop individualized treatment plans.
Use a multimodal approach to care, including medication management, physical therapy, and bracing when appropriate.
Review and explain test results to patients.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, medical assistants, and other providers.
