About The Position

Anne Arundel Dermatology is seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least two years of dermatology experience to join its established, busy office in Annapolis, Maryland. The practice serves an underserved community and provides a support team to help deliver quality patient care. Full-time and part-time options are available, ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week. The stated full-time salary is $125,000 or more, with unlimited bonus potential. The role promotes a professional, welcoming atmosphere and quality patient service. The clinician reviews new-client intake forms, documents treatments and plans of care, follows medical protocols and documentation standards, and educates patients about appropriate services and products.

Requirements

Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
At least two years of experience in dermatology.
Knowledge of clinical dermatology services and treatments.
Excellent customer service skills and bedside manner.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Well organized, efficient, and able to work in a busy environment.
Team-oriented approach.
Operate transparently and with integrity.
Willingness to succeed and grow individually and as part of a team.
Active and unrestricted state medical license, or ability to obtain one.
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and CDS credentials for prescription writing.

Responsibilities

Maintain thorough working knowledge of medical protocols, standard operating procedures, and policies.
Follow designated standards and protocols for medical documentation of services performed.
Review new-client intake forms and document client treatments and plans of care.
