About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for part-time opportunities in the Eureka area. Providers deliver high-quality care in state-of-the-art urgent care centers and treat both pediatric and adult patients. The centers are equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy (Epic), with collaborative staffing that includes radiology technologists and medical assistants. This role is part of a partnership between GoHealth Urgent Care and Mercy. Mercy is a faith-based health system serving seven states, with 40 hospitals and more than 2,500 Mercy Clinic physicians. GoHealth describes its teams as collaborative and highlights opportunities to grow professionally and use advanced clinical training.
Requirements
- At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints, and with preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
- Physician Assistants must have a master’s degree and NCCPA certification.
- Nurse Practitioners must have a master’s degree and appropriate AANC or AANP certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality urgent care to pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints.
- Provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
