Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner -Part-time
About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for part-time opportunities in the Eureka area. Providers deliver high-quality patient care in modern urgent care centers equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy. The role is supported by collaborative staffing, including radiology technologists and trained medical assistants, and is part of a fast-growing urgent care network. Compensation includes competitive salary and hourly rates, a monthly daily-volume bonus based on patient visits per shift, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction scores and quality measures. Requirements
- At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in urgent care or emergency medicine.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Comfort with minor procedures, preliminary EKG reads, and preliminary X-ray reads.
- Physician Assistants must have a master's degree and NCCPA certification.
- Nurse Practitioners must have a master's degree and appropriate AANC or AANP certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality urgent care to pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints.
- Provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
