About The Position

Geisinger is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team in Huntingdon, PA. Geisinger Community Medicine has much to offer, allowing you to live well in both your professional and personal life. This role involves forty-minute appointments for our senior patient population, daily huddles with all care team members to review essential information about schedules, patients, resource needs, and coordination of care. Support is provided by pharmacists for patient education and medication management, care managers, health managers, clinic health associates, and coding educators who work collaboratively with providers. Increased access to care is facilitated through eVisits, patient portals, and Geisinger’s ConvenientCare urgent care clinics.

Requirements

Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner
Basic Life Support Certification
Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania)
