Physician Assistant or ACNP - Hospitalist
About The Position
ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist team at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. This role involves a 7 on 7 off 12-hour day shift schedule with no call obligations. The position focuses on inpatient rounding with physicians on acute complex patients. Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) who provide a wide range of healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, long term disease management, and promoting health and wellness in various settings. NPs can specialize in areas like family medicine, pediatrics, or geriatrics.
Requirements
- Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
- Acute Care Certification required for Nurse Practitioners
- Master’s degree for Physician Assistant applicants.
- State licensure(s) required in the state(s) where the Nurse Practitioner will work.
- Certificate of Authority to practice.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification and certification(s) applicable to your role.
