OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Full time or Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience to serve communities in and around Seattle, Washington. The role provides mobile dermatology services to seniors living in retirement communities and nursing homes, including care for patients who might otherwise lack dedicated dermatology services. The provider will join an established patient base and diagnose and treat dermatological conditions, including skin cancers and precancers. The position may be part-time or full-time, working two or four days per week. Providers typically visit two to three communities per day, with communities grouped by location. Daily travel is required, and the work location is on the road. The practice offers back-office support for appointments, insurance verification, and billing, as well as a cloud-based dermatology-specific electronic medical record.
Requirements
- At least one year of medical dermatology experience.
- Valid state Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
Nice To Haves
- Geriatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments and diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Perform full-body skin examinations, biopsies, cryotherapy, and electrodessication and curettage (ED&C).
- Travel daily to serve retirement communities and nursing homes in the Seattle area and surrounding communities.
