Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Women's Health Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Women's Health team. The PA will provide comprehensive care to women across the lifespan, working collaboratively with OB-GYN physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current Physician Assistant license in the State of New York.
  • NCCPA certification required.
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
  • BLS certification required.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

  • Women's Health, OB-GYN, Family Medicine, or Primary Care experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of Women's Health, OB-GYN, Family Practice, or related clinical experience.
  • Experience with EMR systems (eCW, Epic, Athena, etc.).
  • Familiarity with preventive care guidelines and women's health screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecological conditions.
  • Perform annual well-woman exams and preventive screenings.
  • Provide contraceptive counseling and family planning services.
  • Evaluate and treat common women's health concerns, including: Menstrual disorders, Menopause management, Pelvic pain, Vaginal infections, Urinary tract conditions
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing.
  • Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice.
  • Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Collaborate with physicians regarding complex patient cases and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards.
