About The Position

Carle Health is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist physician to join an established practice in Urbana, Illinois. This opportunity is suitable for candidates interested in both full-time and part-time work. The practice is a multi-specialty group including OB/GYNs, OB Hospitalists, Midwives, and Advanced Practice Providers. The role involves 24-hour in-house call coverage with a team of physicians and a CNM, admitting to Carle Foundation Hospital. The facility boasts a state-of-the-art, family-oriented Labor & Delivery unit with dedicated anesthesia coverage, Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, and comprehensive on-site Women’s Health sub-specialties. There is an academic and research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine and an ACGME-Accredited OB/GYN Residency Program. The position requires participation in the residency program, with involvement tailored to the attending's interest. Consideration will be given to candidates with a balanced OB/GYN focus, OB dominant, or OB only preferences.

Responsibilities

Provide obstetric and gynecological care within an established multi-specialty practice.
Participate in 24-hour in-house call coverage.
