About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician Assistant specializing in Electrophysiology in an outpatient setting. The role involves providing clinical coverage for maternity leave from November 30, 2026, to March 21, 2027. The PA will conduct outpatient clinic visits, manage patient communications, perform follow-up evaluations, and collaborate with physicians and support staff, documenting all encounters in the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Ohio license or Compact license
- CNP, PA, CNS certifications
- Experience with Epic EMR system
Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient clinic visits for electrophysiology patients (30-minute appointments).
- Manage patient inbox messages and phone consultations.
- Perform follow-up evaluations for established patients, including hospital follow-ups.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and support staff (MAs, LPNs, RNs).
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR.
