About The Position

Florida Heart & Vascular is committed to providing the South Florida community with innovative, patient-focused cardiovascular care. Our team combines advanced treatment with compassion, collaboration, and personalized attention to help every patient achieve better heart health. As we continue to expand our electrophysiology services throughout Broward County, we are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established, physician-led team. This role will support our Fort Lauderdale and Plantation clinics and affiliated hospitals, providing a mix of outpatient and inpatient electrophysiology care. It is an excellent opportunity for an APP with a cardiology background to develop specialized EP expertise and grow their career with an expanding cardiovascular practice.

Requirements

Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Florida license or ability to obtain one before starting
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

Cardiology experience preferred
Electrophysiology experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other cardiovascular conditions
Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
Perform hospital rounds and assist with cardiovascular consultations
Review EKGs, cardiac imaging, laboratory studies, and other diagnostic testing
Manage cardiovascular medications and treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
Provide patient education and ongoing care coordination
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
