About The Position
Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a Physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions, and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS. This role presents a unique opportunity for those interested in combining clinical practice with academic leadership. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC
- Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a PA; or
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC; or
- Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan).
- Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.

- Current ATLS Certification (Advanced Trauma Life Support), is an asset
Responsibilities
- PAs collect and interpret medical information
- Make appropriate clinical decisions
- Carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS
- May provide services to acute and long term care sites as required
