About The Position

Reporting to the Manager, Rural Chronic Disease, the Community Dietitian is responsible for providing clinical nutrition services, consultation, counselling and education to individuals and groups in order to improve the nutrition status of regional residents. In addition, based on expertise in nutrition, this position provides educational services, consultative services and promotes strategies for community development to professionals and community groups.

Requirements

  • Dietetic Internship certificate
  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
  • Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
  • Must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position.
  • Must bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.
