About The Position

CHI Health Good Samaritan is seeking a locum physician specializing in Anesthesiology for general anesthesia coverage. The position is located in Kearney, NE, within a hospital setting. The need for coverage arises due to an existing MDA leaving the group. The facility requires daily/weekly coverage from Monday to Friday, with shifts typically from 7 am to 3 pm or 7 am to 5 pm. No night or weekend call is required. The physician will perform general anesthesia for a variety of procedures including Ortho, Spine, Gynecology, Urology, Interventional Radiology, Neurosurgical (Spine and Intracranial), General Surgery, Robotic, ENT (Head and Neck), Pediatric, Vascular (Open and interventional), and Advanced GI procedures. The EMR system used is Epic. Support staff information is not available.

Requirements

• Board Certified
• State License Required or IMLC (highly preferred, must obtain prior to start date)
• Malpractice - Clean Preferred (highly preferred)
• Availability at time of name clear
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of the presentation date

Responsibilities

• Provide general anesthesia.
• Perform anesthesia for Ortho, Spine, Gynecology, Urology, Interventional Radiology, Neurosurgical (Spine and Intracranial), General Surgery, Robotic, ENT (Head and Neck), Pediatric, Vascular (Open and interventional), and Advanced GI procedures.
• Cover daily/weekly shifts from Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3 pm or 7 am - 5 pm.
• Complete required orientation and training.

• Orientation rate: $257.50-262.50 per hour (half the hourly/callback rate, after 8 hours)
• Hourly rate: $515-525 per hour (not OT)
• Holiday rate: $772.50-787.50 per hour (1.5x the hourly rate)
