Physician Advisor - AI Research Participants - United States (Remote)
About The Position
Prolific is inviting US-based physicians with experience in physician advising, clinical review, or utilization management to join its Expert Network for paid research and AI-related tasks. Applicants must be registered physicians with a current US medical license and be willing to provide a National Provider Identifier (NPI) for verification. Applicants who meet initial eligibility requirements may be invited to a dedicated Prolific workspace. After credential verification, they may be invited to complete training or a qualification assessment. Those who meet project requirements and pass the assessment may be invited to participate in project tasks. This is a remote, freelance, task-based research participation opportunity, not clinical employment or a salaried physician position. There are no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work. The indicative rate for invited paid screening is US$130 per hour, and project task rates start at US$216 per hour; actual rates and task details are confirmed for each task. Participants can review task details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before choosing whether to participate. Applying does not guarantee an assessment invitation, acceptance, or paid work. Participants complete expert registration and medical-credential verification, may complete an assessment if invited, and, if qualified and selected, apply their expertise to available paid research and AI-related tasks. They must follow each task’s instructions and confidentiality requirements. Participation is subject to eligibility, verification, assessment results, project requirements, and task availability.
Requirements
- Currently reside in the United States.
- Be a registered physician with a current US medical license.
- Have experience in physician advising, clinical review, or utilization management.
- Be willing to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding; physician and license eligibility must also be verified.
- Be willing to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
- Have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
- Be able to follow detailed online instructions.
Responsibilities
- Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
- Complete an assessment if invited to establish suitability for the project.
- If qualified and selected, apply experience in physician advising, clinical review, or utilization management to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
- Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
