Correctional Physician - AI Research Participants - United States (Remote)
About The Position
Prolific is inviting US-based physicians with experience in correctional or correctional-facility medicine to join its Expert Network for paid research and AI-related tasks. Participants must be registered physicians with a current US medical license and be willing to provide an NPI for verification. After credential verification, eligible participants may be invited to complete training or a qualification assessment. Those who meet project requirements and pass the assessment may be invited to participate in project tasks. This is a remote, task-based paid research participation opportunity, not clinical employment or a salaried physician position. There are no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work. The indicative rate for invited paid screening is US$130 per hour, and project task rates start at US$216 per hour, subject to task-specific confirmation. Participants can review each task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before deciding whether to participate. Applying does not guarantee an assessment invitation, acceptance, or paid work. Participants complete expert registration and medical-credential verification, may complete an assessment if invited, and, if qualified and selected, contribute correctional-medicine expertise to research and AI-related tasks as available. They must follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task. Applicants should not include patient information in applications or task submissions. Requirements
- Reside in the United States.
- Be a registered physician with a current US medical license and experience in correctional or correctional-facility medicine.
- Be willing to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding; physician and license eligibility must also be verified.
- Be willing to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
- Have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
- Be able to follow detailed online instructions.
Responsibilities
- Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
- Complete an assessment if invited to establish suitability for the project.
- If qualified and selected, apply correctional or correctional-facility medicine experience to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
- Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
