Insurance Physician - AI Research Participants - United States (Remote)
About The Position
Prolific is seeking physicians to participate in remote, task-based paid research and AI-related projects. Physicians from any medical specialty may apply. Applicants must be registered physicians with a current US medical license and be willing to provide their National Provider Identifier (NPI) for verification. Eligible applicants may be invited to a dedicated Prolific workspace. After credential verification, they may be invited to complete training or a qualification assessment; physicians who meet project requirements and pass the assessment may then be invited to project tasks. This is a research participation opportunity, not clinical employment or a salaried physician position. There are no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work. Participants can review each task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before deciding whether to accept it. Applying does not guarantee an assessment invitation, acceptance, or paid work. Indicative pay is US$130 per hour for invited paid screening, with project task rates starting at US$216 per hour, subject to task-specific confirmation and availability.
Requirements
- Currently reside in the United States.
- Be a registered physician with a current US medical license; physicians from any medical specialty are welcome.
- Be willing to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding; physician and license eligibility must also be verified.
- Be willing to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
- Have access to a computer and reliable internet connection, and be able to follow detailed online instructions.
Responsibilities
- Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
- Complete an assessment, if invited, to establish suitability for the project.
- If qualified and selected, apply medical expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
- Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
